First Date // Kiseop and Kwangmin

Kwangmin smiled softly, "I would love to. Go easy on me alright? I'm an old man." As they chuckled, Kwangmin fished twenty dollars from his wallet and handed it to the man running the game. Both boys sat; with Kiseop to the left of him and another player to the right Kwangmin began to feel pressure. It was game pressure. The angel never played games like this. Once he sat down he had to analyze  the game so he knew what he was doing. The water gun felt clumsy in his hands. The trigger was lax so he guessed the man had to press something to make it start. Kwangmin looked at Kiseop with a slight shimmer of fear. "It is just water right? It can't hurt anyone?" Guns weren't something angels were supposed to hold. It was a toy, true, but it still made Kwangmin uneasy. He wasn't going to let his emotions toy with him tonight though. Kiseop was his focus that night and they were going to play this game. A sudden pulse of adrenaline came over him. "I'm going to win this," he muttered to himself as he aimed his gun.

Kiseop nodded at Kwangmin with a grin, “Of course! I can certainly do that for you.” The younger boy laughed and took a seat next to his friend after the worker got his pay and glanced over with a smile, all ready to go. He adjusted the gun and looked down the sight, lining it up with the small target he’s supposed to hit and held the trigger, waiting for the water to blast.

Kwangmin’s question threw Kiseop off a little though, he released hold of the gun and turned to look at the other male. “Oh no- that’s the fun of it. It’s just high powered water coming out of a toy gun- basically it’s like a squirt gun except we’re not aiming it at each other, instead we’re having a friendly competition for who can fill up their tube with water the fastest. You just hold the trigger and shoot at your target.” He shrugged, “It’s simple."

This game, being Kiseop’s all time favorite for carnivals and amusement parks, was something he knew quite a lot about. He always enjoys challenging his friends to this game because most the time he wins and offers his prizes to his friends. If, however, he doesn’t win he likes to play again until he does. It’s fun, he enjoys friendly competition every once and a while.

The younger male returned to his gun only a second before the bell went off to signal the start and fumbled around with the plastic thing. He got off to a sloppy start, having not been aimed and ready with the trigger pulled and all. Kiseop made a small ‘Agh’ accompanied with a grimace, knowing this would affect his success and did his best to get back in the game and fix his mistake.

He squinted down the sights and pulled the trigger, aiming straight at the target and quickly recovering. The damage had been done though, his initial start wasn’t helping him in the slightest and it seems the only way he would recover is if everyone were to mess up, that was unlikely though. He smiled and continued spraying water at his target, content with losing this round. There were two more anyways.
